Their Story

Segal and Shaloma were  born and raised on the gorgeous island of

St. Thomas, located in the U.S. Virgin Islands. They grew up and lived in the same community and attended the same schools, so they have always been very close friends. But it wasn't until their senior year in college that the two started dating, when Segal asked Shaloma on a date and took her to Christmas dinner. They talked and danced all night as they reminisced on their childhood. The two later relocated to Dallas, TX to pursue their careers; Segal became a lawyer and Shaloma became an Accountant. A year later, the two went back to St. Thomas on vacation to enjoy the carnival festivities, visit with family and friends and most of all, go to the beach!

 

One night, they went out to have dinner on the beach, at their favorite restaurant. The sweet melodies of the steelpan music filled the air as they walked along the beach shore. The moonlight shimmered on the crystal clear water and the sound of the waves crashed in the background, as they gazed into each other's eyes. When the music ended, Segal got down on his knee and asked Shaloma to be his wife. Without hesitation, she said, Yes, I most happily will! 

 

Segal and Shaloma envisions a royal yet intimate wedding, where their love can be felt through their gold, ivory and crystal themed affair.
